Our address is Hovsundveien 93, 8314 Gimsøysand. Follow the road E10 and make a turn at the
Gimsøystraumen bridge or the Sundklakk bridge. You will find us north west on the Gimsøy island.

By air:
We have two airports in Lofoten, one in Leknes and one in Svolvaer. It’s the aircraft company
Wideroe airline that operates to and from Lofoten. Wideroe has direct routes from Oslo to Lofoten.
There are 2 bigger airport around Lofoten, one in Bodø and one in Evenes (Harstad/Narvik Evenes
Airport). Larger airline companies operates these routes, like SAS and Norwegian.
From Evenes you can rent a car and drive in beautiful nature to Lofoten, it takes about 2,5 hours. This
is the most common travel route.
You may also take the Widerøe airline from Bodø to Svolvær.
Boat:
From Bodø you can take the coastal ferry Hurtigruten or the Hurtigbåt (passenger express boat) to
Lofoten. With the Hurtigruten you can arrive Stamsund or Svolvær.
The Hurtigbåt arrive in Svolvær is operated by Torghatten nord.
We also have a car ferry from Bodø to Moskenes. In the high season in summer we recommend to
prebook tickets. It takes about 4 hours, and then comes a 2-hour drive from Moskenes to Hovsund.
In the summer you can take the ferry from Hamarøy to Svolvær.
If you drive from the south, you can take the ferry from Bognes to Lødingen.
Car:
We highly recommend that you rent a car to get to Hovsund, the public transport is very limited.
You will find car rentals in Evenes, Svolvær, Leknes and Stamsund.
If you drive from Bodø you can take the ferry from Bognes to Lødingen and drive the Lofast-road to
Lofoten.
