There is a lot of things you can do in Lofoten, and we have made the list below for you to keep track of the one close by. If you have specific requests or questions, you can just reach out to us.
0 Meter – Go fishing, you can rent a boat from us!
0 Meter – Enjoy the midnight sun from the pir during summer, and watch the northern light during winter
20 Meter – In the period from February to May, racks are filled up with fish for drying.
200 Meter – Take a walk on the pir, watch the eagle who lives out on the rocks, or take a closer look at the lighthouse. By the lighthouse, you can see the remains of a whale which stranded a few years back
700 Meter – Walk on the patch to Hov beach, a fantastic white beach
800 Meter – Go horseback riding! At Hov Hestegård, you can go on a short or a longer guided tour, riding on an Icelandic horse. For more information, check out www.hovhestegard.no
1 km – Lofoten Links, one of the worlds most spectacular golf courses! Play some midnight golf, or with strong winds from the north. Either way, you are guaranteed a great experience! For more info, check out www.lofotenlinks.no
1 km – Hoven, our little big mountain. It is only 378 meters high, so it is an ideal mountain to start off with in your Lofoten experience. From the top, you can enjoy a 360 degree view.
5 km – Gimsøy handel – drop by Bodil and Roys little super marked. It will surprise you with a wide range of products, and even with a small café and homemade bread. While there, cross the road towards the ocean, and you will get to another great white beach.
